Title: It could use a better way to expand and tighten around a microphone.
Review: Too tight around some microphones – no adjustment there.

Title: Not great for non-wireless mics (SM58, etc)
Review: These seem to be sturdy and reasonably well built, but they are a bit large for SM58 and similar mics. Do they work? Yes. But…the mic sits very deep in the holder in a way that just doesn’t work as well as the stock Shure holders do. For these clips to be secure, they have to slide up the mic body almost to the ball of the mic. This means the boom or stand is considerably closer than you’d expect and gives you less flexibility is positioning the mic to minimize any blocking of the face of the performer. If you plan to use these for SM58s I recommend you look elsewhere. Because that’s *my* use case, I don’t find these a great fit but thought it unfair to deduct more than 1 star. If they are going for universal then I suppose they need to fit a wide range of mics and need the extra width.

Title: Holds My ATR2100 Mics Perfectly
Review: I replaced my old flimsy tripod mic stands with heavier tabletop stands and needed holders that fit my old Audio-Technica ATR-2100 mics. The mounts for my old tripod stands aren’t removable. These worked perfectly. They fit snugly and even have an opening for my on/off switch. They also came with 5/8″ Male to 3/8″ Female adapters. Nice product.

Title: Perfect universal fit
Review: I bought a karaoke with mic stand second hand on offer up and the mic holder was old and broke as soon as I got it. So I had to order these and it fit perfectly. It came with alternate screws incase I had to use another stand, loved it and it came quick.

Title: Needed Brass Inserts
Review: I don’t know why companies send plastic pieces when shipping their microphones. The plastic pieces stripped out in a few days, so I bought these and it’s perfect now. No more stripping of plastic parts, just solid brass.

Title: Slightly too large for SM57’s.
Review: These are marketed as universal, so that has to be accounted for. However, if you plan to use these for SM57’s, they will work, but are really just a little too large. The mic ends up sitting pretty far back. Unless you are on a super tight budget, I would find something else for 57’s.

Review: It holds my mic, but if I want a change I can use the other mic holder! It just doesn’t get any better folks!
