【FLAME RETARDANT & ECO-FRIENDLY】: Our sound proof foam wall panels are flame retardant (California Technical Bulletin 117-2013), odorless and non-toxic. Their high density, durable, and high resilience design ensures long-lasting performance. Besides, these modern wave style foam tiles are perfect for interior wall and ceiling art decoration

Title: Great foam panels
Review: Good quality and helped in the office we needed it in. There is not near as much echoing, and they look good in a pattern on the wall as well.

Title: Better than expected
Review: I expected this to be trash. I needed an add-on to get free overnight shipping and thought why not. My friend use to have a recording studio in the attic where we lived and it was pretty well treated against reflections. He had a nice set up with even bass traps and stuff. Nearly 20k+ equipment in a college dorm.I knew Iâd likely never have a setup like that so I got a Shure SM7b, which is a dynamic mic. It has great off-axis rejection on nearly every side except behind. This means it works pretty well in less treated rooms and is good at blocking ambient noise. I used to live in line of an airport and a busy Highway, so that was important. All this to say: I thought these would do nothing, but they immediately reduced reflections. My noise sounds less boxy and almost echo-y. A much dryer, crisp sound. I might buy more of these panels lol.A little goes a long way, but I didnât really need to stop side reflections. Put a few of these behind and to the side of you and youâll be surprised.I didnât soak them in water or wait very long. They immediately popped up and seemed like the right dimensions. I left them a few hours and they looked the same. Basically zero smell.I left them overnight just in case, but they still looked fully expanded and didnât smell.I used 3M medium command strips to hang them up. They are super light so that might even be overkill. But it was a lot easier and cheaper than spray or double-sided tape. These are a great value and for my purposes did more than enough. If you want something to isolate sound or sound proofing, this is not the product. But if you want to minimize noise bouncing everywhere, this is great. Plan to get a lot more than me if you have a bare room with no furniture or use a condenser mic.

Title: Purchased 20 Packs! Tested No VOC or Formaldehyde
Review: 1) Not Toxic! I have an Air quality meter and I set these next to it after opening. No bump in either VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) or Formaldehyde (HCHO) levels! These do have a new mattress type smell mixed with the smell of pet food, but maybe they were stored a long time in a factory. It isn’t a very strong smell, even with 120 of them unpacked.2) They do decompress eventually! They took a lot of work to decompress! Leaving them out did not bring them to their full decompressed state. I had to lay flat under sanding water in my sink and get all the air out by pressing down against the bottom of the sink with my palms. Temp of the water didn’t effect them. I found I was able to do this 10 at a time which for me was helpful since I have 120 squares. I had to gently wring out each square after getting all the air bubbles out, since the water was soaked up into them like a sponge that wouldn’t let go. I left them out thinking they would dry (12 hours ish), but since these trap whatever they absorb for a long time I got impatient and had to put them in the dryer on very low for an hour. each load I did notice the pet food smell when taking them out of the dryer but it wasn’t harsh, seems natural ish, or at least inert. Very sensitive people may not like these due to the ‘perception of toxicity’ which on the scale of 1 to 10 would be around a 33) They Hang! Before writing this review I hung 6 on the wall – I didn’t use Adhesive, I used long thumb tacks which works for my needs. These are VERY light weight. Essentially, think air conditioner foam light. A part of me wonders if these were blocks of Air Conditioner Foam laser cut and then immediately compressed into plastic for shipping. But I’m not an expert so that’s just a theory.4) I can’t speak to sound proofing ability but I feel like these will only help with echo. If I notice a massive difference maybe I will edit my review, but my sound gear wont arrive for about 7.5 years probably (jk).5) OVER ALL – I LIKE them a LOT. If only just for the futuristic style look! They definitely give a perception of being able to improve my sound quality, so for my dates watching a movie with me that works fine. ;)Final thoughts: The value for money isn’t really there. If you can find this style in another product, I would opt for that. I probably wont buy these again unless this style doesn’t exist in another more dense product. The time wasted on decompression was money I could have spent elsewhere. Buuuut… the style tho! Ugh – just so cool! 🙂

Title: Look great, functional too.
Review: I mainly got these for aesthetics to fill up my wall, but especially when playing music or talking I feel that it reverbs a lot less than before. I would say that when using these it’s better to use glue than command strips. Or you can use craft glue to glue the command strips on if you are in a rental like me.

Title: Great… Mostly.
Review: To start, I got two packs of these to line my game room. Most of the tiles are great and I ended up having quite a few extra to spare. The issue with these guys is that they vacuum seal twice. They to take shape easily if you let them sit for a few days, you don’t need to shove them in the bath. The issue came When I stated to dig through the tiles and pick ones to mount. They are not equal. I would say around 20 or so of the 72 (2 x 36 packs) I ordered were misshaped or have defects on the ends of them that ruins the look. That’s around 25% of the tiles! The price is also just a bit expensive for the amount of defects I got. The good tiles look great and adhere well to the wall. I did try to soak the defects, it did not work.If you plan to trim or cut this, it won’t matter, but since I put them up whole and wound up with a pile of “rejects” I can’t give this 5 stars.

Review: Didnât want a full sized thick cloud filter over my mixing station so I made one with 12 of these panels. Used 2 pieces of 2×3 poster board tied together and mounted with long screws to give a little spacer. Works fine for what it is but it was mostly for high reflections. Some of the panels didnât inflate properly even after washing and drying protocol but I was able to leave outside for an hour and they pretty much puffed up the way they are supposed to. These are not auralex panels quality but they are fine for home studio use.

Review: I love these panels , so I’ve decided to treat the whole space. They do expand fine if unpacked and left over night. There is a bit of an odor that dissipates over a few days. I also like how they look on the wall after some 3M tape and some patience.
