You’ve seen Kevin Hart rule the stand-up circuit. You’ve watched him take over Hollywood. You’ve even seen him slay the New York Times best seller list. Now he’s going to help you own your monsters.

Following his popular titles I Can’t Make This Up and The Decision, Kevin is back sharing the practical wisdom that he’s gained from a profound, life-changing event. Monsters and How to Tame Them is Kevin’s most recent guide on how to live your best life, wrapped in his signature honesty, hilarious voice, and adept storytelling. You’ve heard stories about vampires, zombies, and ghosts. Now it’s time to meet some of the monsters that haunt your mind. Kevin will introduce you to Control Monster, or the need to control everyone and everything around you that ultimately limits your chance to grow. Then there’s Comparison Monster. This one makes you compare yourself to others, causing irrational jealousy. You’ll also meet Approval Monster, that nagging feeling deep down inside you that just wants likes and approval from the entire world, which leads to endless emptiness.

If you’re afraid of these monsters and more lurking around every dark corner, let Kevin, the monster hunter, show you how to train those bad tendencies we all have in the recesses of our minds. But first, you’ll have to look and see who or what is hiding under your bed. Kevin’s got you. Now get them.

Title: Hart fan!
Review: I went all the way to the other part of the world to see him preforming on stage, I am a big fan of Hart. I appreciate his sense of humor, humbleness and willingness to be vulnerable. I haven’t read/ listened to his previous original but I got this one and I’M in love! It’s educational in an entertaining style.I very much appreciate the metaphoric style of speech too. I can’t stand facts and boring books and this one is exceeding my expectations!PS: I am listening to the book and it’s narrated by Hart himself and I’M OBSESSED!

Title: Once again, Kevin Hart didn’t disappoint!
Review: Im a huge kevin Hart fan but this hit different, this was deep and relatable and uplifting. And delivered in a way only kevin could. this was not only my favorite kevin hart project. but it is my all time favorite book/audible. He don’t care what people have to say about him nor should he, I wish I could just tell him thanks because this book brought me back to life.

Title: Comedians are modern day philosophers
Review: Something about long walks in my super white community while listening to Hart talk about his monsters..and yes..his monsters have no race, ethnicity or economic status, but the monsters he describes are much easier to tame because they’re relative to me. Much easier than trying to create Atomic Habits. 🙊.

Title: Funny with a twist of truth
Review: I knew Kevin Hart was a great comedic actor but was not aware he wrote great books too. He also narrates very well. I enjoyed his first one, “The Decision” Immensely. I had to get this one too. He is such a funny guy dropping nuggets of good advice, as he puts it. LOL

Title: For not being an audible fan….
Review: I love AHA! moments and this audio by Kevin Hart (yes I am a fan girl but that is beside the point.) delivered ten-fold. The ol’ “I can do it all monster” struck a huge cord…humbling, to say the least. Yes…I can relate to all the monsters..no doubt. I’ve learned a hell of a lot along the way and sure as hell won’t be repeating the mist-takes and at the same time I can have a good lol at myself (and ego) and humbly say “thank you God for having mercy on me.”From the bottom of my heart a Big Thank You to You, Kevin, and keep on keepin on!…I know I will.
