Title: Fantastic Behind-the-Scenes Stories and Photos
Review: What an archive! When my copy arrived, I literally read it from cover to cover as soon as I had it out of the packaging. Not only are the anecdotal stories from many of the industry’s best makeup effects practitioners poignant, candid, insightful, entertaining, and enlightening, many of the amazing photos are from personal collections that most people may not have ever seen before this book. To those few sad folks who gave this book only a couple of stars, shame on you! This is pure gold! Movie magic history that you can hold in your hands and savor. This is a MUST-HAVE for your library if you care anything at all about the field of special makeup effects. Thank you, Marshall and Howard, for lovingly putting this gem together for us to treasure!

Title: Great book! Delivered with mega-damage
Review: Great book! Discovered it at my local library and couldnât wait to get my own copy. Ordered it on Amazon and it arrived a few days later. However, look at the pics! What factory worker puts a clearly damaged book in a box and mails it to a dedicated Amazon customer??!!The book has no spine and neither does the person whose responsibility it was to give a customer a quality product. Awaiting my replacement book. Câmon Amazon, youâre better than this!Note: The package (box) the book arrived in was not damaged at all, letting the delivery folks off the hook for the damages.

Title: GREAT BOOK- A MUST for Monster kids
Review: I met the authors of this book (Howard Berger, and Marshall Julius) and had a lovely conversation about the many movies and scenes I know of Howards work. The stories in this book you will not see anywhere else. The incredible behind the scenes and humor will have you turning pages. There are photos you will not see anywhere else, so I highly recommend this book. I was lucky enough to go to one of the book signings and enjoy meeting other leaders in monster make-up. There are t-shirts available as well from Funky Monkey. Great stuff, great gift for your monster lovers
