Title: They sound perfect, and are so very handy
Review: I’ve purchased six of these over the last couple of months. I’ve used all six of the female XLR ends, and I’ve used only two of the male ends. In all cases I’ve used the version with 4 wires (fan out) instead of these stage boxes on the other end. So even though I’ve stockpiled 4 unused male ends, I still find these to be cost effective.I’ve run 150′ CAT6 Shielded Twisted Pair (STP) with these with no noticeable noise or cross-talk, even when I turn up the gain on an unused channel and boost the headphone volume on my mixer. I would guess the cross-talk is at least 80dB down, and that is perfectly appropriate for all of my sound system needs.I’ve taken most of these apart to drill holes in the back and permanently mount them around the chancels of churches. They are well constructed inside with a good quality circuit board that connects all five connectors. To take one apart, undo the four screws on the end with the Cat6 connector and pull that end straight out so that the front panel with the 4XLRs slides out with it. Then mount the empty box and slide the connectors back in to close it up.I’m also carrying a female box end and a male fan-out end in my mobile sound system. I find it faster and much easier to run a single Cat6 cable compared to running a multi-core snake or 4 mic lines. It is very easy to carry 4 Cat6 cables of various lengths, and use the smallest one that reaches. These make my whole stage look neater.

Title: Great product
Review: We ordered these as a quick fix for a multi channel front to back of house need and they work , and work well. We initially installed some extra cat 6 lines for whatever future purposes and they were plug and play. Super simple and worked great. Highly recommend

Title: These work great!!
Review: I purchased 3 sets of these for our church. Reduced the number of long cable runs from 12 to 3. We now have 3 zones to our stage. Reconfiguring is greatly simplified. With shielded CAT6 Ethernet cables there is no noise and phantom power works just fine. I wish these were around when we bought all of those long XLR cables. These also could have been used instead of our 12x 4 snake. I highly recommend and, if needed, I will buy again.

Title: Does the job, but know what you’re getting.
Review: First things first: If you’re running analog audio over Cat5e/Cat6 cable, MAKE SURE YOU’RE USING SHIELDED CABLE.So, let’s start with the obvious. 4 balanced connectors should require 12 conductors. Cat5e/6 cable has 8 conductors (plus the shield). So, somewhere in here, we’re not getting true balanced connections. This is one reason why you MUST use shielded cables with this. The second reason is that phantom power is passed through the shielding. If you don’t use shielded cable, you will not have phantom power. All in all, this is a great, inexpensive solution for non-mission-critical runs. I stuck one of these in the church attic for a couple of congregational mics that are suspended from the ceiling, and it works fantastically for that.

Title: Great for the price
Review: These are exactly what we needed and a great value for the price. Les noise over a 100ft Ethernet cable that over the 25ft xlr cables we had. The build is decent. Not sure how long they will last but itâs a church stage so we are not tough on equipment.

Title: Great for studio snakes
Review: I’ve got a small 2 bedroom home studio and am now up to 20 channels of snake between my control room and my guitar cab room. I have these arranged in the same order as the mics on the speakers of my FrankenStack guitar cab which is loaded with 7 different types of speakers. Works great. No high frequency signal loss like standard audio snakes so I can do a long run if I need to without issues.

Review: The price and effortless setup of these almost made it seem too good to be true! These work GREAT and since only a single CAT-6 cable is needed to link them, I could tuck the cable under my home studio baseboards so it’s completely invisible as it runs along my room to the snake output in the far corner.Sound quality is great, durability is great, phantom power works great, they use quality locking connectors. I used a third-party 25ft Shielded CAT-6 cable to save some money over the LyxPro branded one.

Review: Recently moved audio equipment to a loft/balcony at the church and DID NOT want to run snake cables along walls and floors – Cat5 happened to be already in the walls, so this seemed the perfect solution. Instructions say to use Cat6, but since it was only a 75 foot run, we thought we’d see how it works – NO NOISE, NO CROSS TALK, WORKED PERFECTLY! You literally just plug a Cat5 into each box and you’re done. We fed three instruments UP to the mixer and the monitor output back DOWN on the 4th channel.
