Title: My very large puppy loves it
Review: I’ve had this toy a little while now. It’s still holding up. I have a great dane puppy. Not too many things can stand up to his chew. It’s his favorite toy. He has definitely put it to the test. I would buy another one.

Title: Loads of fun, for a while!
Review: We and our puppy loved to play tug with this toy, however, it didn’t last long. With less than two weeks of daily use, it’s in shreds and the stuffing is coming out. If we were to buy it again, I would put it away when our game was done, rather than let her have it as a chew toy. For supervised games of tug, with a non “super-chewer”, I think it’s an excellent product.

Title: NOT Dachshund proof.
Review: This was suppose to be extremely durable. It is NOT. We bought 2 of these toys of different animals. We got it today and with in half an hour this poor lobster was torn apart and our male mini dachshund had swallowed part of it. Luckily he threw it up. We had to put the squirrel (or whatever it is) that our little girl only played with for a few minutes at first, up. It will also be going in the trash. I would like a refund.

Title: Fun tug-of-war toy, perfect for our Corgi!
Review: Â A fun “tug-of-war” dog toy that we got for our Corgi who loves to play tug-of-war games and really enjoys pulling on this lobster for hours on end! I will say that it is not that durable as a chew toy though, so don’t leave it laying around or your pups will destroy it in a day. The “stretchy” part in the middle is not made to be chewed on and can be easily chewed open along with the head of the lobster where the squeaker is located. Our Mini-Golden Retriever would have gutted this in a day but we keep it in a bin of pull toys for our Corgi and only take it out to play with him as he won’t chew it up while playing. After we are done playing, it goes back in the bin for another day.It will stretch between 13 to 18 inches and makes and excellent tug of war toy with the built in handle. My hand usually gets pretty tired trying to hold onto other toys to entertain our Corgi but the very large handle makes this toy easy to use and play with our pups. It’s definetly built for comfort with soft touch materials, a squeaker in the head, crinkle paper in the middle of the lobster and “floppy claws” to hit your dog in the face as they try to pull away, our Corgi LOVES it! . The integrated handle really makes the tug-of-war games a breeze and you can see in my pics that my hand easily fits within the handle and I’m a big guy at over 6′ 3″. We have also been able to get our two pups to both pull on an end at the same time to tug-a-war against each other, which is very fun for both of them! So my review is really only focusing on the “tug-of-war” aspect of this toy and I give it 5 stars for that concept alone as it’s one of the best designs I’ve seen with the easy grip handle. I just recommend putting it up when you are done playing because this will not last long as a “chew toy” and I’ve seen comments as such from other reviewers, but that’s not what this is designed for, so use it as intended and you will enjoy many sessions of tug-a-war with your pups!
