Title: Simple to get started
Review: I don’t have a podcast yet, but I do have a pretty nice home office. I was previously using the Scarlett Solo as an audio interface, but it has a few shortcomings for my general use.First: I primarily use the microphone and headphones for the interface. The instrument interface is good to have for my guitar, but I don’t play guitar as much as I work and game.Second: The Vocaster has a built in mute button. This is a game changer for doing virtual meetings. It can be a pain to set up different keystrokes to mute a zoom meeting, teams meeting, google meet, etc. and having a hardware mute button saves all of that hassle. However, the mute button is also something I see as a potential weakness of this device as it’s a rubber covered button instead of a solid mechanical button. For a button that will see a lot of use, this seems like an oversight.Third: The Scarlett solo was obviously designed for a single person. I don’t have external speakers so there would be issues when I would bring my spouse in to share something. Having a second audio input solves this issue.Forth: The gain levels seem to be more balanced with the Vocaster. I have a Rode Podmic and also have a Fethead to allow the Podmic to provide enough gain for me to comfortably chat with the Scarlett Solo. I no longer need the Fethead to receive the same volume levels.Bonus: Something I didn’t have on the Scarlett that I got with the Vocaster 2 is the ability to link my phone to bluetooth. I am uncomfortable using a phone for voice calls, so this is a game changer for me. It seems small, but it’s actually a very large thing as I can now hear people on the other end of the phone to make appointments easier and have no issues with phone calls with my long winded family members.

Title: Works great.
Review: Honestly have no idea why I own this thing.I upgraded from the Scarlett 2i2. I can see this device being nice for podcasters or even a streamer. Has a few different voice presets which are work nicely. A Bluetooth feature, for transmitting audio through the vocaster, which is interesting. I’ve not had the pleasure to really use but once. The person on the receiving end informed me the bluetooth audio came through with a bit of a static sound. Might be user error on my end since again I’m just an average Joe and have no idea why I own this device. This thing powers my Shure SM7B just fine as the device also has 48v phantom power and up to 70db of gain. Software is nice and easy to use, though I prefer to use the actual device to make most of my adjustments. Overall very happy with my purchase.

Title: Perfect Podcasting Interface w Plenty of Features
Review: This was an upgrade from a Scarlett Solo for me. Comparable units, though the Vocaster lacks any instrument level inputs. For the podcaster, this is perfect. It has some great eq settings out of the box, and the Vocaster Hub software makes it easy to control everything from a computer or the unit itself.

Title: Small and portable
Review: The Focusrite Vocaster Two has been an absolute game-changer for my podcasting setup. Its versatility is astounding, allowing me to seamlessly take calls while recording, with individual mic gain control for a pristine audio experience. The built-in headphone options add a professional touch, making my podcasts sound top-notch. Additionally, the included software’s ability to route computer audio through the Vocaster for live streaming and podcasting has made it an indispensable tool in my studio, enhancing both the quality and efficiency of my content creation.

Title: Great for Voice Recording
Review: This audio interface has the gain that my Clarett+ severely lacks for my dynamic microphone. Excellent for recording speech and Zoom sessions. Using Studio One 6, I can also record and playback midi music with a USB midi keyboard connected to my computer. That said, this is definitely not designed for music as it lacks TRS inputs. I used a TRS to TRRS cable to record my Nord piano on the Vocaster, but the music sounds pretty dull when compared to recording through my Clarett+. Good value for the discounted price offered here.

Review: Fist take is not all that positive.Using with Windows and Rode NT1 5th gen mic. One speaker podcaster use.Minor points: the supplied usb cable was wonky. The installation of software was not prompted as indicated online.More important on first take:None of the voice enhancements, “enhanced” at all, actually made the sound worse. Leave off.For some reason I have to switch back and forth in Windows for play back from vocaster and the computer speakers – a pain; have not yet discovered why.The sound quality to my ear is no better than the Pyle XLR-to-USB microphoe adaptor, which I will go back to using.
