Review: Accomplished writer-producer Pete Tartaglia has gathered the priceless knowledge & experience it took him decades to acquire, and concisely assembled it all in this easy-to-read paperback, full of insight and biting wit. His wisdom and advice should be well heeded by both young creatives trying to break into showbiz, and seasoned Hollywood vets hoping to step up their game. As an executive producer myself, I laughed aloud at Pete’s recollections of our early days in reality TV, and loved his helpful hints for how production assistants should avoid being fired! I really wish there’d been a book like this when I was starting out. Thereâs a lot of great behind-the-scenes insight here that will change the way I watch TV.This is an incredible resource for any young person seeking a career in reality TV. Title: A great overview
Review: I’ve been involved in 1 reality show, but nobody ever took the time to explain to me ‘how it is.’ And I don’t even know where you’d go to get that sort of overview education. But I found it in this book, and I recommend it to anyone who is thinking about working in the genre. Or anyone who just wants to learn a little more about how reality TV is made.

Review: I just finished this book and felt compelled to write a review. CREATING REALITY is TRULY an insiderâs guide to reality TV. I think newcomers and TV vets should read this pronto.
