Title: Worth Every Penny!
Review: I did the unthinkable and brought this power mixer two day before the gig. I literally unpacked it out of the box and fired it up at the gig for the first time. It worked flawlessly, no hiss, no hum, just crisp clean sound from my instruments and vocals, WOW! It was easy to setup and it’s small and light weight. My speakers were made by Behringer also and I used Sure mics. If a need a bar bones small power mixer for a small venue, this is the power mixer for you.

Title: Small and Night – but get’s it right!
Review: It is a pretty decent powered mixer for the $$. Not a ton of juice, but if you need to run a small PA or some monitors it is pretty clean. Nice effects and EQ on board which can really help to clean up the sound… Over-all…I think it’s pretty darn good for the cost…around $200…

Title: Sounds ok. No unpowered line out—cannot be used with powered speakers — limits flexibility.
Review: 5 channels in + a 1/8″ aux in is perfect for many small gigs. Two powered mono outs may add up to 550 mystery Watts but that’s misleading since there’s no way to link the two amplifiers nor control them independently. Actual RMS power is never specified and repeated attempts at getting this info from Beheringer generated only ‘read the manual’ replies. It’s not in the manual. Based on other equipment I own, 50W per side RMS @ 5% TID is about right and that is plenty loudIt has adequate power for a noisy banquet room of 100 people. Unfortunately, you cannot hook this up to a power amp for larger rooms—there is no line out that lets you do this. I would be giving it a much higher rating otherwise. As long as you understand what it can and can’t do, you’ll be ok.

Title: 500 watts is a little misleading…
Review: I’ve owned tons of Behringer equipment, and it is the best ‘bang for the buck’. However, with this PA amp, the power rating was a little misleading. They boast ‘500 watts’. Well, it’s 500 watts ‘peak’, but the RMS rating is more like 125 watts per speaker (250 watts RMS total). I was wandering why is didn’t blast my speakers out like a true 500 wat RMS amp should work. When I looked very closely at the documentation, there was an asterisk noting that the power was “maximum’…. hence, not RMS. It’s still a good sounding PA head but I’ll have to keep it in the basement for rehearsals etc. I don’t think it will cut the mustard on a live gig. The second thing I was a little disappointed with, is that it has no ‘monitor send’ jack where I can send a signal to my hot-spot monitor. This means if I use this on a live gig, I’ll have to place the speakers in such a way that I can monitor everything directly through the main speakers. Again, not a show stopper for me. I’ve decided to keep it because of the great price and good tone. However, I’ll need to go back into shopping mode to find a PA head that will actually do what I want it to do.

Title: Awesome little amp!
Review: I am loving this amp. And it is so much smaller than I expected. Great sound. As some people have mentioned, it could be a little louder. But in all the environments I perform at, I have not needed any more output yet. Good effects. But of course I only use 1, and will likely never use any more of the presets. One thing I am wishing it had would be a lower impedance output for recording purposes. But I can work around that. I would definitely buy another one, and may even do so to have a backup.

Title: Nice and loud
Review: Nice and loud. All interfaces work and feel like they are good quality. My daughter uses this for 2 mic inputs and a Karaoke input occasionally. Also has used as a guitar input. Nice little rig!

Review: Just arrived this morning opened it up. First there was the wrong mains lead they knew it was going to the UK with the wrong lead, so why not send proper lead or at least an adapter? Well I found an adapter and initially it powered up. Tried it again a few minutes later, lights flashed on for a second then off again; now it’s completely dead. Now I’m in trouble as I’m doing a disco on NYE with no amp. Very disappointed with it, and of course it’s going to be a nightmare getting it sorted as it was dispatched from Germany. I missed that fact when ordering it, it’s the last time I get anything on Amazon from sellers outside the UK.
