Review: The summary: A very good set for starting out, if you are new to acrylics get it and buy a large tube of white acrylic paint separately in any brand (Liquitex Basics 8.45 oz Titanium White is a good one for beginners). If youâre an advanced artist who already invested in a collection of acrylic paints, this can be a nice complement for some small tubes of color in a good range…without having to buy individual colors from more expensive brands.The details:Great color range in 0.4 oz tubes. These are not too sheer, the coverage is decent.You might think the tubes are small but they go a long way starting out. Grab a mixed media or acrylic pad and start experimenting. I use Canson mixed media 9 by 12 spiral pad. Just jump in. Find a tutorial you like on YouTube and try to follow it. Youâll figure out your style as you go along…maybe youâll realize you would prefer heavy body, or more vibrant neon colors, or find it too thick and can delve into the world of acrylic mediums and acrylic inks, etc. Then you can start investing in the pricier stuff. Basically, this is an EXCELLENT, reasonably priced set (at least at the time I purchased it) for starting out. Are they professional quality? No. Are they such poor quality that it would taint your experience as a newbie trying out acrylics? Not at all. Just get them and enjoy!

Title: Nice basic paint set
Review: One of the colors was a little too watery. Hopefully it will get better the more that I use it. I prefer drawing with ink, pencil, and charcoal. This set meets the needs of my current project. I like that the paint is water soluble and clean-up is a breeze.
